ASUS Drops 7-Inch Eee PC Netbook
ASUS is letting go of the 7-inch Eee PC netbook in a move to focus on its more popular 10-inch Eee PC.

Rumors about the breakup have hinted at the breakup for a long time coming, but only recently did ASUS confirm the news.
In a report to ZDNet one ASUS spokesman made the announcement:
“The seven-inch is going to be phased out, although some emerging countries may still have some demand.”
However, the 8.9-inch machine isn’t expected to see the same fate:
“I still believe we have a good opportunity in 8.9in for kids, telecoms or emerging markets.”
Old-school netbookers will note the loss, but for the rest of us, 10-inches is the way to go.
