New 11.6-Inch Acer Aspire One Netbook Footage
- 0 Comments
Netbooks are coming in the 11.6-inch size more and more often these days. The larger screen size is as close to notebook-size as can be while remaining a netbook, and consumers seem to approve.
Manufacturers are apparently noting the trend as well, with ASUS, Dell, and Packard Bell all planning to deliver new 11.6-inch netbooks in the next few months.
The 11.6-inch Acer Aspire One, however, seems like it’s getting the most attention. Few other netbook releases generate the same excitement as a new Aspire One does, and who can blame them – the new Acer netbook has slimmed down to 2/3 of older models’ sizes and gets up to 9 hours of battery life with the 6-cell option.
The Register just put up new footage of the Acer Aspire One, and we’d love to share it with you. Take a look:
I’m certainly excited. Only sales numbers will determine how consumers react to the $500 price tag this May, but considering the improvements Acer has made, the new Aspire One should join the ranks of classic netbooks without much trouble.
