Dell Offers Reliance Broadband To Notebook & Netbook Customers

Dell is now offering a special bundle with sales of its notebooks and netbooks, implementing wireless broadband from broadband provider Reliance.

Reliance’s broadband device, called NetConnect Broadband Plus, is a USB card packed with 6 months of unlimited wireless broadband for your new notebook or netbook.

There’s one caveat – NetConnect Broadband Plus limits download speed to 3.1 MB/s, and upload speeds to 1.8. Their service is also only available in 35 cities.

Upon the expiration of the 6-month period, all users can (naturally) choose to pay to continue service or change their Reliance plan. This new plan could be pretty attractive to netbook users, for whom 3G has a particularly strong pull.
