ASUS UL50 Laptop Has A 12-Hour Battery

For those of you that are waiting for a machine that can provide the performance of a laptop, has a long battery life, and is no heavier than a netbook, your wait is over. The newly revealed ASUS UL50 ultraportable laptop has all of the above.
The 15.6″ UL50 will have a 1.3 GHz Intel CULV processor, 4 GB of RAM, and either a 250, 320, or 500 GB hard drive. It’ll also be equipped with an 8-cell battery, which will supposedly allow the laptop to last for 12 hours. Altogether, this laptop will weigh roughly 2.1 kg. 
There’s even a super version of this laptop – the ASUS UL50VG. This super laptop will be able to support up to 8 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA graphics chipset, which can be turned off when necessary to save battery life.
