Apple Upgrades MacBook Pro Line

Imagine my happiness to discover that the rumor concerning Apple’s upgraded MacBook Pros has turned out to be true. Apple sent out an email announcement to those who are signed up for their updates.

The starting prices for the MacBook Pro line remain the same but now you get much more power, storage, memory, and battery life. The 15- and 17-inch models have either the Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors. They come with at least 4 GB of memory (you can upgrade to 8 GB) and at least 250 GB of hard drive space (again, this can be upgrade to as much as twice that amount). Apple also offers solid state hard drives.

This update to the MacBook Pro line has been a bit overdue and I am extremely excited about it. Perhaps this will entail another visit to my local Apple store…
