Olevia’s Underwhemling P10 Netbook

Olevia has released a new device for its netbook line, the P10. It holds all the specifications that are expected of any netbook, and adds nothing to differentiate itself from the masses. The only expected highlight of Olevia’s P10 netbook will be its slightly lower price range. This will be the netbooks sole advantage that may manage to attract customers to the product.

The netbook offers:

  • 10.1-Inch Display
  • Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160 GB Hard Drive
  • Wi-Fi
  • Linux or Windows Operating System

This isn’t Olevias first go-round in the netbook market, as it released the Yones X11A a few months back.

Olevia X11A Netbook Repackaged to Yones X11A, Has Unique Battery

Wondering why the Yones X11A netbook looks familiar? It’s actually a repackaging of the older Olevia X11A model. The model number in this case is the same for both netbooks, but the branding has changed.

The Yones X11A netbook has an 11.1″ screen display with 1366×768 resolution and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and runs on the Windows XP OS. It also has 3 USB ports, VGA output, Ethernet, a card reader, a SIM card slot, and microphone and headphone jacks. A large touchpad and mouse button distinguish this netbook from others.

The 39.2WHr battery of this netbook is also a bit more unique than others of its kind. Instead of being located towards the back of the netbook, it’s located near the front, which makes it harder for third parties to develop replacement batteries.
