Microsoft Bing is Now an iPhone App

This is wrong on so many different levels. Microsoft’s search engine Bing is now available as an iPhone app.

The app is free and offers many options, ranging from straight searches as well as other more specialized searches for images, videos, maps, businesses, and news. The app can also use iPhone’s geolocation capabilities to provide local searches. It also supports voice searches, though this feature is a bit buggy right now and prone to crashes.

Apparently this is not the first time that Microsoft has published an app for the iPhone. It released a previous one called Seadragon Mobile, which allows users to browse images.

(And for the record, I had never really explored Bing before reading about this. I do have to say that I think the background image is pretty neat. It apparently changes every day.)
